Group Info

Welcome to The Leos Den, fellow Leopard Gecko obsessives! A group dedicated to Leopard Geckos, in all their multicoloured multi-morphed glory.

We're here to hoard art, gawk over morph porn (as in pictures, don't worry!), natter about care/breeding/genetics and the species in general. Help one another with concerns and answer questions. Most of all, share an interest!

All eublepharis macularius enthusiasts to be found here!

Please read the following rules before you submit, and take a look around the gallery so you get a feel for the place.

Some rules to keep you herp(tile) ridden people in order:
1) Behaviour:
1a) Be nice to each other! I won't tolerate any rudeness, bullying, trolling, flaming, spamming or general git behaviour at all. If you feel you're being victimised and need someone to step in, please note me!
1b) Tolerance. I want this to be a group where people can come forward with issues with their geckos, I certainly don't want them to feel afraid to come forward in fear of being reprimanded. Instead of judging, be thankful they came forward when they did and help them if you can.
2) Submissions:
2a) I want us all to share our leo pictures; both amateur and expert attempts alike. I won't hold you to high standards, or reject your art simply because they're not Louvre worthy. At the same time, let's keep the gecko itself the main focus, kay?
2b) I will accept dead geckos, sick geckos, taxidermy etc. on the basis that they are -scientific- and -respectful-. But please use a maturity filter on so those not wishing to see these images won't have to.
2c) Submissions are unlimited. I for one dislike groups that only allow a certain amount of deviations per week, as I then have to remember which I've added and which need adding. If I don't want to spam people with lots of art or go through loads of submissions, I'll just leave them for a couple days.
2d) Please submit to the correct folder! Since it's such an arse pain to then reject then resubmit, I'll reject them then ask you to submit to the correct one.
2e) If you're not sure about anything, just write me a message in the comments section and I'll get back to you!

So, anyone breeding this season? Maybe have hatchlings already? Let us know what's going on for you! Any pairing you're excited about? New females you're breeding for the first time?

I've popped my male super snow in with my mack snow enigma; and she's looking ready to pop. Super snow enigmas anyone?

Or even if you're not breeding, are you thinking of adding to your collection?

I've decided i need the following in my life:
Phantom
Blood hypo
Snowbell enigma

If you're not familiar with them, google those beauties.

That's too bad. One thing that can help raise the activity of your group is to go search for reptile photos to submit yourself. On any photo, if you scroll down a bit, there's words that say submit to group; you can just get a ton of art into your group that way. :) The more artwork you have in a group, the more people are going to want to join.

I tried, it didn't work. I'd hunt down leopard gecko art, ask the owners to join, and some were even rude to me for asking. So I can't really be bothered to be honest.
